Create Paper Doll Chain Template

Creating of a paper dolls chain is a traditional paper craft that every child can do. It’s easy, fun, and may grow into a tradition in your family. This activity requires scissors so grown-up person care is advised.

How to create your own paper doll chain template

Get a piece of paper (8.5″ x 11″) and cut down lenghtwise.
Fold it into quarters accordian (pleated) style.

Cut the figure out and unfold. Now you will have a chain of dolls holding hands.

To have more dolls in your chain, you can use a larger sheet of paper and fold more pleats before cutting. Alternatively, use more than one sheet of paper and connect the figures with tape.

You can create the figures with nose, eyes, clothes, mouth, and hair. You can make other variations like paper doll figures that
