I’m showing my age here, but this used to be a He-Man toy! I have not even heard of this for Harry Potter (Kirk Hinrich, dang I hate KU), but I saw this advertised here and it is exactly the same thing I had when I was 6 years old and played with He-Man action figures.

That slime is really gross and it feels really weird. Word of advice: this will make for some interesting hours of fun with your “action figures,” but just don’t get the slime on the carpet, or at least, don’t let your children play with it alone in their room on the carpet. Invariably, they will do what I did with the same toy and leave it the slime ON THE CARPET, and it will harden and you will never get it up. I’m serious!

This toy has no educational value, but I guess its better than sticking them in front of a PS2 and allowing them to steal cars with Grand Theft Auto. But I digress…

I had fun with this when I was a kid (for He-Man at least), so I’m sure other kids now will have fun. Just don’t get it on the carpet!

I bought a few of these as gifts for some friends who hosted a shower for me. I thought they were very nice. The photo doesn't do the perfume bottle justice. It's much bigger and prettier in person. The seller also boxed and wrapped each perfume individually, which was very nice and considerate.

The only down side is that there is a rubber stopper (on the perfume applicator) that doesn't allow the applicator to properly fit into the bottle. It's almost as if the applicator is not fully sitting properly IN the actual bottle. After I moved it around a bit to try and make the two pieces fit together properly on one of the bottles, the rubber came apart. It's not a big deal though. You can simply take the rubber stopper off and it fits very nicely together.

Overall, it makes an excellent gift and comes at a great price!

I bought this for my niece. Another relative had started her precious moments birthday train collection but she did not have the birth figurine. It is a definite to have if you are collecting this adorable set.

This is a very well-crafted doll. It’s a little smaller than I expected, but much higher quality than expected as well. The painting of the face is wonderfully done, with the blush tones fading out in a delicate gradient. The open/close action of the eyes is very smooth, and the hair is glossy and beautiful. My daughter loves it and wants to take it everywhere! It’s a real value even at the higher price than many other dolls.

Collectors of Ginny type dolls have needed a book like this, with all color photographs, detailed doll comparisons, and information about some of the more obsure companies. I was able to identify one of my favorite dolls: an unmarked but mint-in-box “Pam” type. It was made by the Stashin Doll Company of Newark, NJ. Thanks, Carol Stover!

This is a beautiful, well-written book covering small dolls. It is a valuable “must- have” resource book for anyone interested in collecting dolls from the Golden Age of Dolls. The book is chock full of color pictures followed by accurate descriptions of each doll. I heartily recommend it to anyone from the novice collector to the most advanced doll collector.

From the very first pages to the last page of this book, I found lots of information that helped to fill in some blanks on some of the little dolls that I was interested in. Amazing Resource for many dolls of this particular time period. Lots of color photos also. I highly recommend this book as a must have if you are adding old dolls to your collection or just need more information on dolls that you may have.

This is a great volume for anyone who had ,has, and loves Dy-Dee Baby. I was amazed at the attention paid to details like clothing and ‘baby stuff’. I had a lot of baby stuff for my Dy-Dee and her cousins, but there was a whole lot more available than I ever dreamed. That so many of these dolls have survived, is a testement to Dy-Dee’s ability to inspire maternal love and nurturing. It’s not only a book for collectors, but also an interesting look at marketing techniques and our culture.

Robert Tonner’s motto, ‘Believe in the power of play’ is illustrated profoundly in this volume, and his reproduction of the Mold 1 Dy-Dee Baby, to be relaeased this fall, is a most fitting tribute to the baby doll that has captured so many hearts over the years.
